SIIRD promotes, facilitates and funds joint industrial R&D collaboration between Singapore-based companies and Israel-based companies.
Call for Proposals
SIIRD provides funding of up to US$1M for joint R&D projects between companies based in Singapore and Israel. The SIIRD funding covers the R&D portion of the companies’ total development cost in the joint projects.
SIIRD will be calling for a new round of grant proposals. The submission period for grant proposals will be between 20 Feb 2014 and 02 May 2014.

The Singapore Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (SIIRD) is a co-operation between the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) in Israel set up to promote, facilitate and support joint industrial R&D collaboration between Singapore-based companies and Israel-based companies across different industries.
Through joint R & D collaboration and SIIRD's research funding, companies have:
- Created new/enhanced products and technology,
- Expanded product portfolio for customers,
- Created new markets, and
- Shortened time to bring new/enhanced products and technology into the market
SIIRD helps Singapore-based and Israel-based companies by doing R&D Partner Search and providing up to US$1M in research funding for joint R&D projects between them.
R&D Partner Search
SIIRD provides Partner Search assistance to Singapore-based and Israel-based companies across different industries who are keen on R&D collaboration.
SIIRD provides financial support up to US$1 Million in research funding per R&D project done jointly between Singapore-based and Israel-based companies.
