AE40 provides VoIP based solutions for intercom, radio, announcement, voice switching and logging, and simulation and training over communication procedures.The target markets for our solutions are public safety, command and control centers, safe cities applications.

Brief description of proposed R&D project:

Development of situation awareness engine, providing an operator with step by step instructions on how to resolve a dynamic situation, including communication required with other forces for the resolution and escalation of the situation. The solution to be integrated with a command and control application shall provide first of class solution for detection, resolution and training on situations.

The development shall include:
- Situation awareness engine
- Communication, announcement and logging capabilities
- GUI for situation definition and alerts
- Integration of the situation awareness and communication engines within the command and control engine
- Advanced training and simulation capabilities for situations 

Desired Profile of R&D Partner and its role in the proposed R&D project:

The desired R&D partner is a company that provides command and control applications (either for public safety or video surveillance market) that would like to bring up its command and control applications to 1st tier by adding and integrating advanced capabilities of:
- Situation awareness
- Integrated communication
- Simulation and training over situation resolution

The partner shall develop the following :
- Situation awareness GUI applications
- MAPS or graphic representation of the facility where speakers are located for announcements to be made
- Integration of the communication engine
- Integration of the situation awareness engine
- Advanced simulation and training suite
- Situation logging mechanism integration with the communication logging
- System integration and overall system QA
