Company
Profile, Products & Technologies, Target Market
Speech
Modules is a technology-based company that has developed a novel speech
transcription engine. The engine can be used for a variety of
transcription services in the messaging market. The company currently
offers a fully automated transcription service starting from speech to
SMS with extension to services such as:
- Voice mail to text (SMS or Email)
- Speech to Email
- Speech to Fax
- Speech to Instant Message
Speech
Modules has developed its own unique speech recognition engine, The
AcouMath®, which utilizes a novel acoustical - mathematical
approach to deliver fast (real-time), accurate and flexible speech to
text transcription services that are independent of speaker.
The target market is the telephony market, cellular, landline and virtual operators. Potential partners and clients are:
- Telecom Companies: Cellular/Landline/Virtual Operators
- VAR: Value Added Resellers
- Technology Partners: For Joint R&D Projects
Brief
description of proposed R&D project:
Creating
speech recognition technology that is capable of dealing with a large
number of languages, dialects and accents is one of the main challenges
to successful integration of speech to text transcription services into
mainstream use. Speech Modules has a technological base that is
capable of handling numerous languages, however, it requires R&D
partners in Singapore to collaborate in the development of
methodologies for integration into local speech-text/email, voicemail
or translation applications that are specific to Singapore and the
Singaporean languages (Singaporean English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil).
Desired
Profile of R&D Partner and its role in the proposed R&D
project:
Speech Modules would like to partner with:
1. R&D companies or developers of messaging-based platforms or services.
2. Voicemail manufacturers.
3. Developers of messaging applications and services.
4. R&D teams of landline or cellular operators.
The Singaporean R&D partner would be instrumental in developing a
pathway for integrating the AcouMath® into local applications and
products. The ideal partner would be able to provide a
complimentary fit of technological expertise, product development and
research capability.
