Photonicity is developing an optical power transmission technology (wireless or wired) that is a power solution for remote vehicles operating in highly challenging environments (long-range or severe pressure or temperature or radiation) for extended periods. Our key differentiation is that the tech is based on lasers versus other forms of energy. This solution will unlock unprecedented values for our customers. Our competencies are in developing the hardware and delivering the energy to customers which are operators of drones and/or satellites. Currently, we are a team of 3 with 2 focused in R&D. Photonicity is still in the pre-revenue stage.

Photonicity aims to build wireless power facilities that would involve a network of power laser stations strategically located for use cases of our customers and power converters. Our customers are operators of fleets of drones and satellites.

Develop a number of power-scaling demonstrations of laser power beaming aiming to exceed the current power/distance metric. Within the scope of this project, target vehicles are drones and high altitude platforms.

Photonicity will provide overall requirements and execution of each demonstration. We will provide our proprietary power converters at the minimum.

1. partners who supply systems with high power lasers and/or auxiliary subsystems (ie mount on 2 axes, pointing and tracking)
2. operators of satellite, high altitude platform or drone fleet which is operated under substantial power constraints.
