Founded in 2015, with the goal of solving the most complex problems encountered by project teams, we were forged in an environment that required a paradigm shift in project delivery systems. Lean Station builds Lean + Digital systems called Lean PlanDo to achieve efficient and on-time project delivery of capital projects. We innovate in these broad set of areas of Lean thinking, decision systems, technology enablement and cultural transformation for small-mega companies to scale up into a Lean Enterprise globally.

At Lean Station, we are working towards improving the performance in the projects through bringing in innovation in intentions setting, processes and in capabilities of people. We approach these areas with a Lean + Digital approach for ensuring the transformation is sustainable and can be replicated across the organisations. We have built our own proprietary product called Lean PlanDo to achieve Integrated Lean Project Delivery for capital projects.

Lean PlanDo incorporates both Lean methods and digital advantages to motivate all stakeholders to achieve the overall objectives of the project. It has proven to be an effective system to bridge the GAP between planning and site execution processes. As of now, it has benefitted over 35 projects by mitigating delays in months and cutting wasted costs of over 6% (of contract sum).

Lean PlanDo is looking to enhance the productivity at the construction / production project site with improving the information availability for making informed decisions.

The availability of critical modular information from the construction site is limited and unreliable. With Lean PlanDo – this capturing of information is manual from mobile application which is checked and consolidated on a weekly basis. However this process needs to be made automated that would significantly benefit the bottlenecks in the information availability:
– to improve the reliability and timing of the information from the site
– to reduce the resistance from the contractors due to the amount of data entry to enable further adoption of the digital tools / systems

We seek to kickstart an R&D project to investigate suitable technologies in IoT / Image processing / A.I. / 3D laser Scanners to be able to solve this critical bottle neck in capturing reliable data from the project work sites.

Lean Station has gathered immense knowledge and insight into the construction knowhow and the bottlenecks that affect the processes.

Len Station is positioned strongly to be involved in the R&D areas of Lean construction, Construction management research, software / application (web apps, mobile apps) R&D, R&D into process automation, R&D in Integration of hardware /software, User experience research & test-bed research

Hardware OEM in the areas of IoT sensors , 3D Laser scanning technology , Image processing, A.I. or machine learning companies. 3D point cloud data processing companies, or related companies.

We are primarily interested in Hardware / software solution developers (OEM) Companies which have strengths in the above areas and aspirations to position their products and solutions to the construction industry for joint R&D efforts and joint commercialisation efforts in the future.
